Hoxton Hall

Hoxton Hall is a unique, evocative and vibrant youth arts centre. The theatre is a Grade II* listed music hall saloon, built in 1863. Hoxton Hall also houses several rehearsal spaces, a music room and art studio.

Hoxton Hall's youth arts programme caters for young people aged 8-25 who are interested in practically exploring the arts. We run regular junior drama, music and art classes (8-11year olds), youth music and drama classes (11-16 year olds) and Hackney Young People's Theatre (16+). These classes lead to regular performances, concerts and exhibitions. We run a music group called BAM! for young people (11-15 year olds) with special learning or behavioural needs which provides a unique opportunity for interaction, creative exploration and self-expression through music. As well as the regular activities we also run a range of special holiday projects and host performances for young people.

Hoxton Hall's pioneering arts programme for young people aims to make the arts accessible to all. We provide opportunities for young people to explore their creativity through imaginative and ambitious arts projects, which broaden horizons and push personal and artistic boundaries.
